[The Circle] The Big Pause

Every year I take the month of August off.

August is the month that my personal life speeds up, so I have forced my business to slow down. This gives me time to prepare for and celebrate all the birthdays this month (there are a ton of Leos in my life), plan and organize for my son’s birthday (an August Virgo), and prepare for his return to school (which seems to be earlier and earlier every year…).

And this year is just the same. I’ll not be working in August! Sort of.

You see, I’ll still have client websites to maintain, The Coworking Coven™ to facilitate, and emails like this to write. These things I’ll still be doing! In other words, if you’re currently a client of mine… very little will change.

But if you are considering being a client or member in August, you’ll have to wait. Because:

• The Coworking Coven™ will be closed to new members until October (join the waitlist)
• I will not be booking any new Websites for Witches until October (join the waitlist)
• My calendar will be closed, so there are no available Witching Hour sessions

If it's in August, I'm closed.

But Patty, you notice, if you’re not doing anything until October, does that mean you’re taking off September, too?

Alas, no.

Taking August off requires giving September the space to ramp up for October, which requires keeping things closed. It’s a pattern I’ve recognized in business over the last several years and this year... I’m leaning into it.

I will be spending September implementing all the of the work and changes I’ve been working on during this summer. All those things I’ve kept quiet? Expect me to get loud this September!

Will I still be in your inbox every week during August? Absolutely. I’ll be sending emails with updates about how things are going and maybe have a few gems from the archive come out.

P.S. Thank you so much for the replies to my last email. The feedback I’ve been receiving has been heart filling and eye opening.
